In Memoriam: Betty Joyce Baham
Betty Joyce Baham was a lifelong advocate for the transformative power of education. She devoted her career to ensuring that all youth—particularly those historically disenfranchised and marginalized—had access to quality educational opportunities.
As a founding member of CNED, Betty continued to shape the educational outcomes of countless young people, extending her impact far beyond her formal career in education. Even in retirement, her unwavering dedication to supporting students through CNED fueled her passion and commitment to empowering the next generation.
Betty passed away on September 10, 2018. She is deeply missed, but her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the meaningful work she championed.
