WHAT IS CNED:

California Northwest Education Department (CNED)
is an educational non-profit entity whose objective
is to close the opportunity gap for historically disadvantaged youth by creating a fundamental shift in the college going and completion rates of African American youth, socioeconomically disadvantaged youth and first-in-family college attendees. Through fundraising, networking, grants and awareness building, CNED supports in the realization of their full academic potential.
CNED'S RECORD OF SUPPORT
Since its inception in 2007, CNED has supported
over 500 students matriculating thruough K-12, and transitioning into post-secondary environments. CNED has raised funds to supply these students with the educational tools they need to succeed academically.
WHAT YOUR SUPPORT PROVIDES:

Donations are used to provide students with
the academic tools they need to thrive in their respective educational environments. Students matriculating through the K-12 system receive resource books and content specific study guides including SAT/PSAT preparatory materials, backpacks, calculators, notebooks, etc..
College bound students receive financial
scholarships, or digital tools, or peripherals including: laptops, printers or digital recorders.
With your help in donating, continuing college students may be able to receive financial support which can be applied toward tuition, or room and board, books or incidental expenses.
